non-degree seeking
Non-degree seeking students include those taking a USF class to satisfy degree requirements at another academic institution; those pursuing a graduate certificate; and those who just wants to take a class for personal fulfillment.
Non-degree-seeking students can apply online or complete an enrollment application through a records and registration office on any USF campus. Once the application is processed, the student is eligible to register for classes through USF's OASIS system, just like any other student. Non-degree seeking students are permitted to enroll on a space-available basis.
Your USF non-degree student application with payment of the non-refundable application fee can be submitted online. Remember to select University of South Florida (USF) and Non-Degree when asked, "What is your intended program of study?" You may also use this online form to make yourself eligible to register for an alternate calendar course.
Transient students (who are earning a degree at a university other than USF, but wish to take a class here) should seek the proper transient student/cross-enrollment forms from their department in order to transfer credits.
