The Community College Transfer Access Scholarship (CCTAS) is administered by the Florida Diversity and Equal Opportunity Office in conjunction with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at USF for economically or educationally disadvantaged Florida residents. Scholarships are based on financial need, academic merit, and other selection criteria. Applicants must be transferring with an AA (or approved AS) degree from an accredited Florida public community/junior college, with preference given to students from first-generation-to-college, limited-income backgrounds, and/or diverse ethnic backgrounds. This scholarship provides $3,200 ($800 per semester for up to four semesters) for educational expenses at the University of South Florida. Priority consideration will be given to scholarship applications received by April 16, 2008 though we will continue to accept completed applications until June 27, 2008. Scholarship Requirements
