Cost & Financial Aid

The Summer ACE Program cost is comprised of two components:

  1. Tuition and Fees
  2. Housing and Dining

Tuition and Fees

Summer ACE students should expect to pay the university's standard per credit hour rate for 6 credits of undergraduate courses. You can view the per credit hour tuition and fees information on the university controller's office website here

Please note that there are different tuition and fee rates based on residency status.

For students applying Florida PrePaid to Summer ACE, see this chart to determine the estimated amount covered for the six (6) required Summer ACE credits.

Please note: With the exception of the DCF waivers, all other waivers (including State of Florida, USF employee, & Grandparents Out of State Waiver) are not accepted for not accepted for ACE. Please visit the Student Accounting website for additional details about waivers.

Financial Aid 

Financial Aid is available for ACE. Students who want to apply for aid during ACE will need to fill out the 2023-2024 FAFSA (for Summer 2024 aid) in addition to the 2024-2025 FAFSA (for Fall 2024/Spring 2025). Housing and Dining

During Summer ACE, students are welcome to live on campus with the program.There are special rates for Summer ACE students to live on campus with University Housing and purchase a meal from Dining Services. 

Housing

Students will need to complete USF Housing’s application process to live on campus during the summer ACE program. Students must complete one housing application for Summer ACE and an additional application for Fall/Spring in order to live on campus their entire first year (summer/fall/spring). Living on campus is NOT required for first year students.

Break Stay

"Break stay" is available for students who have a fall housing assignment, which allows students to move from their summer housing assignment into their fall housing assignment at the end of summer term. The break stay fee rate will be applied to move your belongings to your fall housing assignment before the Fall Residence Hall Grand Opening

 

Dining

All students residing on campus will be required to purchase the Summer ACE meal plan . Students residing off-campus are not required to purchase a meal plan, but are welcome to do so, if they choose. See campus dining and meal plan information at https://usf.campusdish.com/

Note: ACE students are not required to live on campus with summer ACE; however, it is highly encouraged.

+Out of state/non-Florida resident tuition rate is $575.01  per credit hour plus $37 flat fees. In state/Florida resident tuition is $211.19 per credit hour plus $37 flat fees.

*Housing is Cypress Hall apartment single room with shared bath and kitchen.
