Student success is at the heart of what we do. To ensure the best outcomes possible, USF offers multiple academic resources for our students, including academic advising, tutoring and testing services and more.
You’ll work closely with your academic advisor to plan your course of study, register for classes, declare or change your major, get academic counseling and more.
Academic Success Center
Take advantage of academic support services including tutoring, workshops, academic coaching, writing help, and more to enhance learning. Find out about services and opportunities available through the Academic Success Center located on the 2nd floor of the USF Library Learning Commons.
The Digital Media Commons
DMC is a multimedia production area that provides equipment, instruction, creative space, and assistance to USF students, faculty and staff. Our innovative lab enables content creators to use studio equipment and software to work on class assignments or personal projects.
The USF Tampa Library is the largest and most comprehensive on campus, providing access to over 2 million academic journals, databases, books, and research assistance for students along with high-tech study space. The FMHI Research Library provides services and resources supporting the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute and related programs. Shimberg Health Sciences Library serves USF Health students and faculty.
Testing Services administers comprehensive testing including the ACT, SAT, CLEP, GRE, LSAT, Six Sigma, Florida Teacher Certification and more – right on campus.
USF Scholar Commons
The University of South Florida Scholar Commons is a showcase for the university’s research and creative output. Members of the USF academic community contribute completed scholarship for long-term preservation and worldwide electronic accessibility.
