Finalize Your Provisional Admission
If you were admitted based on an unofficial transcript (documents that did not come to USF directly from the college/university issuing them) then your admission is considered "provisional". To finalize your admission you must have final official transcripts sent from each of your previous institutions to the USF Office of Admissions (see address below) no later than the end of your first semester. Future registration will be blocked until the document is received.
If you were admitted to USF prior to the completion of your previous program, then you were admitted provisionally under the expectation that you will complete that degree program prior to matriculation at USF. In this case, you must finalize your admission before the end of your first semester at USF by having a final official transcript sent to the USF Office of Admissions (see address below) indicating when the degree was completed. Future registration will be blocked until the document is received. If, for any reason, you do not complete the degree prior to the beginning of the graduate program at USF, your graduate admission decision will be cancelled retroactively and your enrollment status will be changed to non-degree if you have registered for classes. This change could have serious consequences if you are an international student or if you have received graduate student financial aid prior to the cancellation. If your graduate admission status is cancelled, you will be required to repay all federal financial aid received as a graduate student.
