University Admission Requirements
Each applicant to a graduate program at the University of South Florida is required to meet the following minimum requirements. Graduate programs often require additional information and supporting documents so please consult your program of interest for additional requirements.
The application deadlines for graduate programs vary by department. Many programs give highest priority for admission and funding to applications that are complete and received early in the application cycle and certainly before the deadline. Contact the graduate program for the most current information about their admission deadline. Colleges and programs may continue to process applications after the deadline if space exists within the program.
Applicants may apply for more than one graduate program at USF. However, all applicants are required to submit an application fee of $30.00 for EACH graduate program.
One official transcript from all institutions of higher learning attended by the applicant is required, but applicants are encouraged to upload unofficial copies of transcripts with the online application to expedite the processing of their applications.
Standardized Test Scores
Some graduate programs require submission of test scores for admission. Tests such as GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, IELTS, PTE-A and others may be required. For specific information, please visit the department website or click the links to the right.
