Transcripts - Domestic
One official transcript from all institutions of higher learning attended by the applicant is required. Applicants are strongly encouraged to upload unofficial copies of their transcripts through their online application to expedite the processing of their applications. Any offer of admission granted using unofficial transcripts will not be finalized and future enrollment will be blocked until official paper transcripts are received in a sealed envelope from the Office of the Registrar where the applicant attended.
Final transcripts must show that the required degree was earned prior to enrolling in the graduate program at USF. If the prior degree has not been completed by the start of the graduate program the applicant must contact Graduate Admissions to defer admission to a future semester.
*Please note that Graduate Admissions does not accept electronic transcripts from prior institutions to finalize admissions to the University of South Florida; they must be in paper format.
All transcripts must be in English. It is the applicant's responsibility to have non-English transcripts/mark sheets/certificates translated and evaluated before submitting them as part of their graduate application packet.
If you are applying while still completing a degree, you must submit transcripts of at least six (6) semesters of completed undergraduate work.
Final transcripts/certificates showing that the bachelor's degree was awarded prior to graduate matriculation will be required if an applicant is admitted and enrolls, but they are not necessary unless the applicant is admitted.
Please do not submit USF transcripts if you have attended as a USF degree-seeking student since they are already in your data file.
