Graduate Student Resources

Student success is at the heart of what we do. To ensure the best outcomes possible, USF offers multiple academic resources for our students.

Academic Success Center

The Writing Studio provides support for students who need help identifying and rectifying gaps in their writing process. While consultations do not edit or “fix” grammar and syntax, writers may benefit from a consultation to learn how best to manage their own improvement in the writing process. The Writing Studio is located on the second floor of the Library.

The Digital Media Commons

DMC is a multimedia production area that provides equipment, instruction, creative space, and assistance to USF students, faculty and staff. Our innovative lab enables content creators to use studio equipment and software to work on class assignments or personal projects.

Libraries

The Tampa Campus Library is the largest and most comprehensive on campus. It provides access to over two million academic journals, databases, and books, and research assistance for students and faculty along with high-tech study space. The FMHI Research Library provides services and resources directly supporting the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute and related academic and research programs. Testing Services

Testing Services administers comprehensive testing right on campus, including: entrance and placement tests (GRE, LSAT, MAT, etc.); certification and licensure tests (Praxis, Six Sigma, etc.) and pre-employment tests.

USF Scholar Commons

The University of South Florida Scholar Commons is a showcase for the university’s research and creative output. Members of the USF academic community contribute completed scholarship for long-term preservation and worldwide electronic accessibility.
