Amazing Arts Facilities

The College of the Arts has a dazzling array of arts facilities available for USF students and faculty. The College not only offers the highest quality education and performances- we also offer it in some of the best buildings in higher learning. There are also museums and galleries on campus, as well as several types of theatres for performances of all varieties.

Athletic Facilities

USF boasts a fabulous fitness facility in the Campus Recreation Center with two basketball court gymnasiums, an indoor suspended three-lane running track, 6 racquetball courts, 6 group fitness rooms, an indoor swimming pool, and more! We also have some of the best collegiate athletics facilities in the state of Florida.

Gain practical, hands on experience in your field in our state-of-the-art laboratories. As one of the top 50 universities in the nation, public or private, for research expenditures, we encourage our students to engage in the research that is ongoing in these amazing laboratories on our campus.


The USF Library offers access to over 1.3 million books and an extensive selection of print and electronic resources, including 52,000 e-journal subscriptions, 443,000 e-books, and over 800 databases containing articles, media and other materials. Students also have access to our collections of audio/visual materials including videos, CDs, DVDs, and even LPs.

Outdoor Facilities

With a campus that is 1,562 acres (over 6.32 square kilometers), there are a multitude of gorgeous outdoor locations to explore! Take a stroll through USF Botanical Garden's living collection or over 3,000 plants, animals, and natural habitats, where ongoing scientific research is taking place. Or explore Geology on the USF GeoPark trail. Test your mettle on the Ropes Course or canoe on the Hillsborough River at USF Riverfront Park.
