Schools & Colleges
The university has 14 colleges from Medicine and The Arts to Marine Science and Business, each of which offers an extensive range of degree and specialty programs, many allowing students to focus on a particular discipline while exploring other areas of interest across the university.
Programs & Majors
With more than 80 undergraduate majors, there are unlimited opportunities to discover and pursue your academic passions. Some programs or majors may not be called the same way in your country. Please keep these differences in mind when you are browsing through programs and concentrations.
Advanced Standing Credit
USF allows international students to receive up to 30 semester hours of credit towards the baccalaureate degree upon successful completion of Advanced Placement (AP), Advanced International Certificate of Education Program (AICE) and General Certificate of Education (GCE), International Baccalaureate (IB), General and Subject College Level Examination Program (CLEP), DANTES, Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Exams (CAPE), German Abitur, Global Asses
Honors College at USF offers high-achieving, academically motivated students extraordinary opportunities to develop their thinking, reasoning, and analytic skills, regardless of major. The program encourages interaction among students and top faculty through small classes and unique on-campus opportunities.
Study Abroad & Exchange with USF World!
Take your US education beyond the classroom, beyond the country and participate in exchange programs in over 25 countries. These include: semester exchanges, dual degree programs, summer and short term programs, international internships, and service learning.
Faculty and staff are very supportive of student success. USF has put in place a wide range of tutoring centers, advising offices and state of the art facilities to make student success happen.
Undergraduate Research Opportunities
As early as their freshman year, students are encouraged to engage with faculty and get involved in research. You can conduct research in your discipline here at USF, one of the nation's top 50 public research universities.
