Verify NetID & Personal Information

We want to stay in touch! If you haven’t already done so, visit my.usf.edu and activate your USF NetID and USF email address. Your USF email address will be used by all University offices for official communication. If you did not receive the four-digit code needed to activate your NetID, please contact the Office of International Admissions.

Submit Your Visa Documents

Submit all required documentation to USF International Services if you will be attending on a student visa (F-1 or J-1). These documents include but are not limited to: a copy of your passport, Affidavit of Financial Support, bank statements, etc.

Pay Your Admission Deposit

Pay your non-refundable $200 admission deposit by May 1, (admitted for Summer/Fall) od December 1, (admitted for Spring) to secure your place at USF. The deposit will be applied towards your first semester’s tuition and fees.

Explore & Accept Scholarships

Explore scholarship opportunities at USF. Most applications have a deadline of February 1. You will be automatically considered for Admissions Scholarships if you apply for admission by January 2. If you were awarded a scholarship, be sure to accept your terms & conditions.

Sign Up for Housing & Meal Plan

Freshmen are strongly encouraged to live on campus and purchase a meal plan. Housing assignments are made based on the date of a completed housing application. To ensure you receive your preferred housing assignment, do not delay!

Register for Orientation

Once you have activated your NetID and paid your admissions deposit, you may register for USF Glo-Bull Beginnings Week. Glo-Bull Beginnings is a program for undergraduate, international students to prepare them for being a student at USF and living in the US. This required program includes your Orientation session and other events from International Services.

Submit Medical Documentation

All new students must submit the official USF Medical History form and provide proof of immunizations to Student Health Services (SHS) prior to registering for classes. Students living on campus must provide evidence of Meningitis vaccination to receive a housing assignment. Submit the Student Health Insurance Compliance Form prior to the start of the semester. Florida law requires all international students to have medical insurance.

Submit Final Academic Credentials

You must submit official academic credentials (transcripts, diploma, and external exam results) before or upon arrival at USF. If you have dual enrollment, you also must provide an official college transcript. You can check on the status of your final credentials on your Oasis account.

Review Your Tuition & Fees

USF does not mail tuition bills. Once you are registered for classes, check your tuition due at my.usf.edu. Sign up for e-deposit to permit student refunds to be directly deposited into your personal bank account. You may open a U.S. bank account through the USF Credit Union or another financial institution.
