Requirements & Deadlines

Academic Credentials

If you completed secondary education in any country outside the US, USF requires that you submit the appropriate documents that are the equivalent of graduation from high school in the US. As a general rule, completion of secondary education will consist of 12-13 years of study and the awarding of a diploma or graduation certificate. Please include academic transcripts and exam results of all secondary work.

International Baccalaureate Students

Students in the IB diploma program may qualify for conditional admission and an initial scholarship offer to USF based on
their predicted IB results. USF will take into consideration the anticipated grades in both individual subjects and additional
points for the extended essay and TOK. Prior to enrolling, the final official IB results must be submitted directly from
International Baccalaureate to confirm admission and eligibility for a scholarship.

secondary school official.

Bahamas General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE)

Students graduating secondary school with the Bahamas General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) will be evaluated for admission based upon the final BGCSE results and official SAT or ACT scores. USF will take into consideration the anticipated scores to make a conditional decision on admission and scholarships.

Prior to enrolling, the final official BGCSE results must be submitted directly by the Ministry of Education to confirm admission and eligibility for a scholarship. We understand that in most cases, final BGCSE results will not be available until June of the year you hope to enroll. For this reason, we are able to make a conditional decision on admission based on your predicted scores.
