From our multi-screen gaming center (dubbed SkyPad) to sophisticated labs in our new Interdisciplinary Sciences building to creative dining halls, USF boasts exceptional facilities. Here are just a few of our favorite spots on campus.
Ranked as one of the top facilities in the U.S., our rec center has something for everyone (literally)! In addition to top-of-the-line equipment, we offer a heated indoor pool and indoor track. Or get out and enjoy our famous Florida weather with our ropes course, disc golf course, canoeing and kayaking.
It’s food with flair! Menus include healthy meals, including gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options, on a menu prepared by a registered dietician. All stations feature exhibition-style cooking, and 10 iPads display nutritional information for each item.
INTERDISCIPLINARY SCIENCES BUILDING
Completed in 2011, this signature seven-story building includes two 300-seat auditoriums, modern classrooms and research labs for the physics, biology and chemistry departments. It is one of two buildings on campus to be LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certified by the United States Green Building Council.
Dubbed “ClubLib” by our students, USF’s library is a popular gathering spot to study, collaborate and take advantage of resources like the Tutoring Center or the Writing Studio. The library is open 24 hours a day, four days a week. Did we mention there’s a Starbucks inside?
At the heart of USF’s campus, the MSC will quickly become one of your favorite hangouts. It features a food court, computer store, multi-screen gaming center, pharmacy, credit union, print shop and offices for numerous student organizations.
PUBLIX GROCERY STORE Coming Soon
Go food shopping right on campus! Publix soon will open the first-ever grocery store on a college campus.
Technically, the “Ray-Jay” (as it’s affectionately known) isn’t on campus. But this world-class Tampa stadium IS the shared home of USF Football and the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
You’ll never have to leave campus unless you want to. Our on-campus eateries include Beef O’Bradys, Chick-fil-A, Einstein Brothers Bagels, Jamba Juice, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Panda Express, Papa John’s, Pollo Tropical, Starbucks and Subway.
Home to USF Basketball and Volleyball, the SunDome also features concerts, comedy shows and other entertainment throughout the year – right on campus
