The Office of Communications & Engagement

Print Approval

To ensure consistency in branding, USF's official policy requires the approval of all print and electronic communications using the USF logo. This includes online publication, electronic documents, printed publications (e.g., posters, flyers, brochures), imprinted items (e.g., staff shirts), or promotional giveaways (e.g., pens, mugs, keychains).

Additionally, faculty and staff of the USF College of The Arts are required to include an official print approval statement with their purchase order request to the CoTA Business Office for any material that will be paid with USF, College or Unit funds. Purchase orders without print approval will not be paid.

Before you send any items to print or distribute any electronic communications, be sure to obtain a written print approval statement. You can email your logo approval request to Nina Contreras at ncontrer@usf.edu. Nina is the appointed representative to review requests for the College of The Arts. In your request email, be sure you to include a digital copy of your design file so she can review it and give you an official print approval email statement. Please note that Nina does not proofread your text copy; that is the responsibility of the publication's editor.

Other versions of the USF logo must be approved by representatives of that logo's department. For a full list of all University representatives, see the Logo Approval Request page on the University Communications & Marketing website.
