Brittany Sears was the USF Project Manager of a grant from the Helmsley Charitable Trust to improve retention, graduation, and employability of students in STEM fields. Dr. Sears received her Ph.D. in Integrative Biology in 2013 from the University of South Florida, working on topics at the intersection of human and animal health. A communication fanatic, she helps students, professors, and doctors say what they mean with her coaching and editorial services. She has worked in the veterinary sciences and higher education, as well as with non-profit organizations, and has mentored over a dozen undergraduate students who have gone on to graduate and professional schools.
