Lizabeth Sismilich is the senior director of development for the USF Muma College of Business, leading the development office in raising philanthropic support to advance the college's mission.
An accomplished fundraiser, communicator, and strategic planner, Sismilich has a long history with USF -- first as a USF mass communications graduate, then with more than two decades of experience in development. Most recently, she was director of leadership gifts for the USF Foundation. In that position, she oversaw a portfolio of university-wide major potential donors. Gifts secured during Sismilich's time in this position include significant gifts that supported many areas of the university including the Arts, Business, Marine Science, USF Health, and Academic Affairs. Also as director of leadership gifts, Sismilich collaborated with a large team of USF development officers, USF administrators, board members, and volunteers to identify and develop relationships with the university's principal donors, and she participated on the Regional Development team to increase USF's engagement opportunities with alumni around the country.
During her 20-plus years at USF, Sismilich also served in development positions for the College of Arts and Sciences and the USF Library. Additionally, her experience includes serving as the senior director of philanthropy for The Humane Society of the United States.
Sismilich is an active member of the USF Women in Leadership & Philanthropy program, a USF Alumni Association Life Member, and a graduate of Leadership Tampa Bay Class of 2013.
