At USF, we believe communications skills are as important as the business curriculum students learn in the classroom. The BizComm Center offers help to business majors — undergraduate students as well as graduate students — in all phases of writing. We are a resource for students who want to improve their written, oral, presentation, and email communication skills.
We can help students pinpoint the requirements of assignments, organize information, express their ideas clearly, logically, and concisely, and fine-tune their grammar and punctuation. Our goal is to help a writer learn how to do these things. We do not fix or edit papers; we work with writers to help them understand how to do these things, so that when they graduate, they take these skills with them into the working world.

- Go to the Advisor Appointment Scheduler, and enter your USF ID.
- Select Tampa for campus, Business for area, and BizComm Center for sub area.
- Choose the day you would like an appointment.
- Click on any "available" appointment showing.
- Click "Schedule New Appointment" to reserve that time. You can cancel an appointment through this system as well.
The online appointment scheduler is designed to cut down on missed appointments or excessive rescheduling. If you cancel two appointments or if you miss one scheduled appointment, you will be locked out of the system and must contact the director of BizComm to be able to use the system again. The system also will not permit you to make more than one appointment at a time. (If you need appointments for two different classes, the staff in the center will be glad to help you.) If you have trouble making an appointment through e-Scheduler, you are welcome to email the director, Pat, at email@example.com or call (813) 974-6924; please have your U number handy so we can make the appointment for you.
We are located in BSN 2202 on the second floor of the old wing of Ferguson Hall, across from Undergraduate Advising and near the exterior sliding glass doors leading to the new wing.
