Marketing Major

Marketing majors find career opportunities in a wide variety of diverse and dynamic industries. The marketing curriculum has been designed to give you more flexibility in helping to prepare for specific marketing-related jobs in professional sales, product management, advertising, and marketing research.

Requirements for the Major

In addition to university degree and business core requirements, students must complete 18 hours in marketing courses beyond MAR 3023.

At least 12 hours must be taken in residence at USF- Tampa.

Required Courses (15 credit hours)

The following courses are required courses that must be taken by all marketing majors:

Marketing Electives (3 credit hours)

It is strongly recommended that marketing majors take an internship course as part of their plan of study. It is also recommended that courses in information technology, finance, management, and international business be included in the business electives.
