The Undergraduate Advising office assists business students with academic advising, course permitting, and registration. The office also spearheads undergraduate initiatives such as the Bulls Business Network, Bulls Business Community, Corporate Mentor Program, and Business Communications Center.
Financial Aid / Scholarships
With more than 175 different scholarships available exclusively for business majors, USF's College of Business is proud to award nearly $300,000 in scholarships each year. Some scholarships are need-based, some are merit-based; others are awarded to students studying for a particular degree or are based on student talent.
A number of student organizations exist in the College of Business, from honor societies to professional groups to community service organizations. These organizations help students get involved with the College of Business in ways that mesh with their interests and goals.
Working in tandem with USF's Career Center, the College of Business' Office of Employer Relations assists students with career planning, hosts corporate networking events, and coordinates workshops to help students with professional development. Businesses, large and small, partner with us to host information sessions, offer internship opportunities, and recruit future employees.
At USF, we believe communications skills are as important as the business curriculum students learn in the classroom. The BizComm Center offers help to business majors — undergraduate students as well as graduate students — in all phases of writing. We are a resource for students who want to improve their written, oral, presentation, and email communication skills.
