Job Search Tools
Job Posting Database
As part of job search services, Career Services provides critiques of résumé and cover
letters, interview strategies, skills identification, self-directed job search techniques,
networking, and strategies for tapping into the hidden job market.
Career Connections provides the following features:
- It functions as a résumé database. This virtual job search system, exclusively for USF students and alumni, allows you to view advertised opportunities and submit your résumé for local, state, and national employers.
- View and apply for on-campus interviews. Each semester recruiters visit campus to interview candidates for full-time professional positions. Alumni who have registered for Alumni Career Services and have an active account in Career Connections may are eligible for this feature.
- Stay up-to-date on employer information sessions. Recruiters hold informational sessions to provide an overview of their organization and answer questions about opportunities. Alumni are invited to information sessions when the employer has indicated an interest in hiring alumni. Notices for Employer Information Sessions are sent via email through Career Connections.
Fall and Spring Career Fairs provide an opportunity for you to discuss employment opportunities with many hiring organizations. These are free for our alumni to attend.
The USF Alumni Association is a great venue in which to network with other USF alumni and take advantage of special discounts and events exclusively for USF alumni. Please note that Career Services' Alumni Career Services Program fee is a separate fee from the USF Alumni Association membership fee.
