Tuesday, January 20th

Never been to a career or networking fair before? Come find out the Career Fair Do's and Don'ts so you can wow employers! You'll learn what to wear (and what not to wear!), what to bring and how to prepare for the event. What you learn here will help you to leave a GREAT first impression! Don't miss it!

Preparing for an interview could be a stressful process. However, there are ways to maximize your chances for a successful interview and eventually get the job you want. This workshop will provide participants with useful tips on what to do before, during and after an interview.

This workshop will provide an overview of using the USF exclusive job posting board, Employ-A-Bull. Students will learn how to use the site to search and apply for jobs, research employers, and more!

Wednesday, January 21st 

Have your resume critiqued by local professionals. No appointment needed, just bring a draft of your resume! The following companies will be on campus for this event: Sogeti, Warren Averett, MetLife, PLS Logistics, Wells Fargo, Medi-Weightloss, Zeno Office Supplies, HDC Inc., Johnson Controls, Target, Direct General Auto Insurance, Teachers R' Us, and more!

Could you sum yourself up to a recruiter in a minute? That is what you just may have to do when they ask you the infamous question, "Tell me about yourself?" If you would like to answer that question so that you leave the recruiter wanting to know more, join us for a workshop where we will give you helpful tips to provide a concise, relevant summary of who you are.

How can you set yourself above and beyond other candidates in a competitive job market? Do what many applicants don't do...research employers before they meet with them. As you prepare for job fairs and interviews, don't miss this workshop that will give you a leading edge!
