PEDIATRIC SERVICES

Hearing Evaluations (newborn to age 18)
Early Detection and Intervention are two of the most important factors in the successful treatment of hearing loss in children. Our Audiologists will complete assessment of the physiology of the peripheral auditory system and comprehensive assessment of auditory function tailoring tests to children's specific ages.

Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) Evaluations
The evaluation assesses how well the auditory system of a child who has normal hearing transmits information to the brain and how well the brain understands the auditory information it receives. This evaluation includes assessment by an audiologist including tests of speech understanding in noise.

Hearing Aid Evaluations/Fittings/Repairs
We understand that importance of giving hearing impaired children every available avenue to access sound, whether listening to the teacher at school, playing with friends on the playground, or listening to Mom in the car. We offer a customized parent-involved process to determine what hearing aids are best for each child.

ADULT SERVICES

Hearing Evaluations
Adult hearing evaluations include complete assessment of the physiology of the peripheral auditory system and comprehensive assessment of auditory function.

Hearing Aid Evaluations/Fittings/Repairs
We work with each individual to determine if their hearing solution includes the use of hearing aids. We have hearing aid solutions from most of the major manufacturers which allows for selection of makes and models of hearing aids that best fit your individual hearing needs.

We offer a full range of hearing aid care for most all makes and models of hearing aids. Our hearing aid fittings are conducted using evidence-based best practice methods including real-ear verification measures. We also offer follow-up care, and minor and major repair services. We strive to maximize the utility and performance of hearing aids even if they were purchased elsewhere.

Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) Evaluations
The evaluation assesses how well the auditory system of a person who has normal hearing transmits information to the brain and how well the brain understands the auditory information it receives. This evaluation includes assessment by an audiologist including tests of speech understanding in noise.

Tinnitus Evaluations
Full evaluations for tinnitus are offered which include counseling on the various treatment options available based on an individual need.

Vestibular Evaluations (ENG/VNG, Vemps, VHIT)
These tests help to check the vestibular (inner ear) balance system as well as the pathways in the central nervous system responsible for connecting the inner ear, eye movement, and the brain, which are essential for a person's sense of balance.  The different tests administred will be based upon your individual balance/dizziness/vertigo symptoms.

HEARING INSTRUMENTS (CHILDREN THROUGH ADULTS)

Hearing Aids
We offer hearing aids (custom and behind the ear) at a variety of price points and technology levels. Hearing aid selection is based on a detailed analysis of each person's hearing needs.

Tinnitus Sound Generators
These devices are often recommended for those suffering from tinnitus as they add natural or artificial sound into a tinnitus sufferer's environment to help suppress or mask the ringing.

Assistive Listening Devices
Sometimes hearing aids are not the best solution for a person with hearing loss, or a person needs more than just hearing aids. We offer a wide variety of assistive listening devices such as pocket-talkers, vibrating alarm clocks, amplified telephones, and personal FM systems.
