ASL Interpreting Requirements

The course of study for the ASL Interpreting oncentration assumes that the student has completed the language proficiency prerequisites in American Sign Language. Upon admission to the concentration, each student will be assigned an advisor for the purpose of academic planning

Required prerequisite courses for the ASL Interpreting major with average GPA of 3.0 or higher*:

Communication Sciences & Disorders is not a limited access program therefore there is no separate application necessary for acceptance. Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA and cannot receive more than one "D" or "F" in the major.
