Post-doctoral Research Opportunities

The Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute offers two-year post-doctoral fellowships for individuals interested in research careers in behavioral health services and policy research. FMHI faculty conduct research with a variety of populations (e.g., children, adults, older adults), service system settings (e.g., schools, specialty behavioral health, medical settings, community agencies, criminal justice system), and methodologies (e.g., qualitative community-based research, multi-site program evaluation, secondary analyses of large administrative databases).

FMHI fellows will have opportunities to conduct services and policy research, participate in a professional development seminar, and develop collaborative relationships with relevant community organizations and state agencies. Each will have a mentor whose expertise matches the fellow's research interests. The FMHI director and other faculty will offer additional mentoring in community-engaged research to enhance the experience.
