Join the USF College of Education for an information session on our middle (5-9) and secondary (6-12) education programs in math, science, English, foreign language, and social science. Topics to be covered include:
- An overview of the secondary education program, its learning outcomes and course requirements
- The clinical component of a degree in education — and what it's like to intern in a classroom
- Which courses prepare graduates to be confident and effective in their first years of teaching
- Skills students gain that are transferrable to careers beyond teaching in the classroom
- The immediate employment opportunities available to our graduates after completing their degree
