TAMPA, Fla. (June 20, 2018) – College of Education Assistant Professor Jennifer R. Wolgemuth, PhD, was selected to serve as the new executive editor of the Florida Journal of Educational Research (FJER). Created in 1959, the FJER was established to facilitate communication among educators, policy-makers, and researchers in the state of Florida and beyond. 

Dr. Wolgemuth is an assistant professor in the USF Educational Measurement and Research program. As an applied analyst of research, she uses social science methods to study the processes of implementing, reporting, and engaging research in Education. Dr. Wolgemuth’s research covers a wide-range of educational topics and has been published in various publications such as Educational Researcher, Qualitative Inquiry, and Qualitative Research.  

The FJER has published more than 300 articles over its 50-year history and continues to provide both rigorous and relevant educational research articles on a wide variety of topics. Articles are published in an open-access format and are freely available to all interested readers immediately upon publication.
