Consulting Office for Research in Education (CORE)

In our efforts to increase College of Education support for the conduct of quantitative and qualitative research, CORE provides free methodological consulting for the College faculty and graduate students. CORE helps with the planning of research and in the analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data.  

This consultation service is funded by the College of Education Dean's Office and provided by the Department of Educational and Psychological Studies.  

Services

Technical advice and guidance will be provided on methodological issues such as:

  • Sampling strategies and sample size determination
  • Reliability Estimation
  • Data screening
  • Statistical analysis
  • Data presentation
  • Thematic analysis
  • Data coding
  • Instrument design/development
  • Psychometrics

Individual consultations are by appointment only.  We will try to accommodate your busy schedule by meeting at times most convenient for you. And remember, CORE services are free!
