Master of Science
To be admitted to this program, students must meet the minimum university admission requirements for graduate students.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and have earned a 3.0 GPA. The USF Graduate Admissions Office calculates the applicant’s GPA from the last 60 credit hours of their undergraduate degree.

In addition to the University of South Florida general admission requirements, the following program admission requirements are listed below.
Program Admission Requirements
- 2 letters of recommendation
- Letter of intent (please include career goals, any type of experience related to the field and/or research experience)
To be successful in this program, the following pre-requisite courses are recommended: Anatomy & Physiology I, Anatomy & Physiology II, Nutrition, and Exercise Physiology. Graduation from the program requires an overall 3.0 GPA and a no lower than a C in any course.
Admissions decisions are based on the following: GPA, relevant coursework, experience in the field, letter of intent, research experience, and letters of recommendation. Applicants should be aware that admission into any graduate program is granted on a competitive basis.
The GRE exam is not required for admission into this program.
