ESOL Endorsement Process
Applying for Your ESOL Endorsement with the Florida Department of Education
When you graduate from USF with a degree that includes the ESOL Endorsement as part of the program's degree requirements, the endorsement will appear on your final transcript along with the statement of certification in your field of teaching.
To confirm whether your degree program includes the ESOL endorsement, visit the USF Catalog.
When you apply to the Florida Department of Education for your initial teacher certification, you should also apply for your ESOL Endorsement. You should pay the Florida Department of Education the corresponding fee for both your Teaching Certification and ESOL Endorsement.
Note: The ESOL Endorsement will only appear on your transcript after you graduate from USF.
