Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Shircliffe received her Ph.D. from the University at Buffalo in Social Foundations of Education. Her research has focused on southern school segregation and desegregation, oral history, and school policy. Dr. Shircliffe has published two books on school desegregation, numerous book chapters and articles in top journal such Urban Review, History of Educational Quarterly, and Oral History Review. She is also a member of the Editorial Board, Race, Ethnicity and Education.
