Forrest (Robin) Kelly, Jr. (University of South Florida) has worked in the counseling field for more than 37 years. The majority of his time has been as an elementary school counselor for the District School Board of Pasco County. He has also worked as an adjunct faculty member for several colleges and universities.

Dr. Kelly worked as an Assistant Professor in Counselor Education at West Texas A&M University before returning to Florida. He has trained with Albert Ellis, William Glasser, and numerous Adlerians including Eva Dreikurs Ferguson, Harold Mozak, and Don Dinkmeyer Sr. & Jr. He has certification in REBT and the Developing Capable Young People program.

Dr. Kelly has successfully used and developed cognitive-behavioral strategies with youth throughout his professional career. He has made numerous presentations on this topic at conferences and has published in this area as well. Additionally he has served on the editorial board for Professional School Counseling and the board for FSCA. He also achieved National Board Certification as a school counselor.
