The TECO Energy Center for Leadership in Education

Dean Vasti Torres addressing College of Education faculty in TECO Hall TECO charts the path for leadership in education.

The TECO Energy Center for Leadership in Education is located within the David C. Anchin Center. The center recognizes that educational leadership is second only to teaching in influencing student learning. As a result, the center is committed to helping struggling schools with their needs. The center supports leadership initiatives that focus on providing educational leaders with the skills and tools needed to increase their personal leadership capacity and, as a result, increase the quality and learning capacity of their schools. The center focuses on developing the skills, knowledge, and dispositions needed for school improvement. Our work primarily supports urban district leaders from around the world.
