Sustainable Cities Working Group
Faculty and research staff interested in sustainable urban development issues have begun meeting to discuss common research interests.
The group, which currently includes faculty from the College of the Arts; College of Engineering and the Center for Urban Transportation Research; College of Arts and Sciences; College of Public Health, and College of Behavioral and Community Sciences, is meant to bring together researchers who share interests in research that sheds light on and/or brings benefit to the communities of the Tampa Bay region.
The SCWG will start by creating a Blackboard site; sharing information about research opportunities; and organizing events that address common concerns about sustainability, urban development, the built environment, and social and economic inequalities in our region. Anyone interested in participating in this group can contact us at CommunityEngagement@usf.edu.
