Biography:
Dr. Fang joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering as Instructor II and program coordinator of BSIT in spring 2017. He received his Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering in 1993 from the University of Florida. Before joining USF, he worked as professor and program coordinator of MSIT at Arkansas Tech University from 2001 to 2016. Dr. Fang has ten years experiences in the IT industry working as an engineer, consultant, manager, and director for several government and private organizations.

Teaching Interests:
Databases design and administration, data warehousing, object-oriented programming, application software development, web technology, information systems analysis and design

M.Sc in Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Florida (1987)
B.Sc in Communication Engineering, National Chiao-Tung University, Taiwan (1980)

Program Coordinator for BSIT, assisting student academic and career advising, course scheduling, program assessment process and accreditation.
