Undergraduate Program

Concentration in Entrepreneurship for Marketing majors

The Marketing Major with a Concentration in Entrepreneurship focuses on integration of the principles for successful opportunity recognition, application of creativity and innovation, and new venture creation and operations. The Entrepreneurship Concentration, with its emphasis on creativity and innovation, also prepares students for entrepreneurial leadership roles within organizations. An entrepreneurship concentration teaches valuable real-world skills -- whether students would like to increase their entrepreneurial business skills, pursue their own business ideas, or learn ways to bring innovation and entrepreneurial leadership into existing positions and businesses. You do not need to declare an entrepreneurship concentration to take the courses. Many courses are offered online.

In addition to meeting other requirements, students will complete the following coursework for the Marketing Major with a Concentration in Entrepreneurship. Please refer to the Official Undergraduate Catalog for residency, minimum grade, and GPA requirements (and additional information).
