Financial Aid - Are You Ready?

Stafford Lenders

Lenders to Consider for Private Student Loans

Private alternative loans should be a last resort and used only when all resources have been explored.  If you have not done so already, we advise you to consider other financial aid and/or federal loans.  You may obtain more information on our home page or visit www.ed.gov/finaid.  The private/alternative loan lenders below are listed because they utilize our electronic processing procedures to speed the delivery of loan proceeds.  They also process loans for students whose enrollment circumstances may prevent them from being considered for Federal Stafford, PLUS, or Grad PLUS loans.  You are encouraged to research the loan product that is best for you by checking details on lender web sites.  You may choose to research other lenders and loan products as well before making your lender selection.
