USF 2014 Summer Pre-College: Register Now
TAMPA, Fla. (April 16, 2014). Interested in exploring campus life? The University of South Florida's Pre-College 2014 offers an opportunity for rising junior and senior high school students to experience college level academics on USF's Tampa campus. Students can choose from several programs ranging from two days to four weeks.
Students will pursue academic interests, discover career opportunities and explore the independence of university Life. Beyond the classroom, seminars and social activities further the exchange of ideas with equally talented peers.
USF Pre-College 2014 continues the focus on strong science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programs as well as global sustainability, film making, 3D animation, and more. "Students who enter college with prior exposure to state-of-the-art STEM research are uniquely positioned to engage faculty in undergraduate research activities that will enhance their academic performance and provide them with a competitive advantage in the job market and admission to graduate and professional programs," says Dr. Richard Pollenz, STEM Academy director.
