New USF Graduate Certificates

Expanding Opportunities for Career Development

TAMPA, FL. (Dec. 20, 2013) – In 2013, Innovative Education introduced ten new graduate certificates designed to provide opportunities for working adults to explore professional and academic interests and gain valuable skills needed in today's job market.

Graduate certificates are designed to provide valuable educational experiences at a master's level in accessible, focused formats. They are geared toward adult students who wish to enhance their education or competitiveness in a desired career field.

"Certificate completion helps prepare a professional for the changing nature of his or her business," said Kathy Barnes, assistant director of business development & program management for USF Innovative Education.

The majority of the new offerings are related to the healthcare industry, addressing market demands of a rapidly growing and diverse field.

The new graduate certificates include:

▪    Brain Fitness and Memory Management
▪    Health Equity       
▪    Medical Anthropology
▪    Metabolic Cardiology
▪    National and Competitive Intelligence
▪    Toxicology and Risk Assessment
▪    Translational Research in Adolescent Behavioral Health
