The Graduate Certificate in Anatomy offers a thorough study in human anatomy using on-line & on-ground, traditional, hands-on and clinically-relevant learning tools. This certificate is targeted to students seeking to improve their academic credentials for future careers in biomedical careers or education.

12 credit hours
- GMS 6604 – Basic Medical Embryology (3)
- GMS 6605 – Basic Medical Anatomy (3)
- GMS 6610 – Advanced Neuroanatomy (3)
- GMS 6630 – Basic Medical Histology (3)
Credit toward Graduate Degree
Up to 12 hours of certificate course credits may be applied to a graduate degree with departmental approval.
GRE or MCAT are not required for admission to the certificate program. However, the GRE or MCAT is required for admission to the graduate degree programs. International students must submit a TOEFL score when English is not the native language.
Time Limit for Completion of Certificate
The certificate can be completed in one year.
