Healthcare Analytics

Description

The Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Analytics will provide prospective healthcare informatics professionals with a solid foundation in the application of healthcare analytics principles to the organization, storage, interpretation and utilization of the diverse array of healthcare data.

The certificate courses provide content that focuses on the subject area of healthcare analytics, including healthcare data visualization, statistical methods in healthcare analytics together with data mining and predictive analytics.

Course Location/Delivery

The certificate is offered fully online.

Admission Requirements

Bachelor's degree, preferably in any of the biomedical sciences, information management technologies or computer science, from a regionally accredited university with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Prerequisites

Coursework in General Biology, General Chemistry and General Physics

Requirements (12 Credit Hours)

Time Limit

The certificate can be completed in two years.

Credit Toward Graduate Degree

Credits earning in the Certificate may be applied to a graduate degree with departmental approval.

Standardized Tests

International students must submit a TOEFL score when English is not the native language.
