The cost of this program is $845
Interested in learning how those tiny circuits in all of your electronic devices are made? This three-day program introduces rising juniors and seniors to the exciting world of microcircuits. In this interactive, hands-on program, participants will explore the foundations of the electronic components that they interact with daily but never see. Following in the footsteps of the founders of the information age, students will explore engineering principles and techniques that will enable future generations of electronics.
Students will be able to:
• Learn how materials are combined to make electronic components.
• Use 3D printing to make "Stamp Lithography Masks."
• Make diodes and transistors from raw materials and characterize them in electric circuits.
Registration is closed.
Please note: Your purchase will appear on your bank / credit card account statement as "USF Innovative Education."
