Office 365 download FAQs

Microsoft Office Pro Plus is now available free of charge for USF Students, Faculty and Staff personal devices.

Under Microsoft’s Office 365 Education program, individuals are allowed installation of Microsoft Office Pro Plus on up to five personally owned PC’s or Macs at a time using your netid@usf.edu login.  Installations can easily be managed online and will remain licensed as long as you have an active association with USF.

Some Known issues

* Office 2016 Click-to-Run is incompatible with Office 2013. Visio 2013, InfoPath2013, SharePoint Designer 2013, and Project 2013 will be uninstalled during the Office 2016 installation process.  The 2013 versions cannot be reinstalled on the same computer.  The 2016 versions would have to be purchased separately.

* If the USF member has an existing personal MS live account which is the same email address as their USF email address, there may be a conflict with their USF account.  Different types of account help can be found here.
