Last week, a vulnerability was discovered in encryption software used by the majority of sites on the Internet. This flaw, the Heartbleed Bug, potentially reveals normally encrypted information, like passwords, to potential attackers. A fix has already been issued for this bug and was quickly implemented on the few USF servers known to be vulnerable to the bug.
If you're using the same password on a site that has been affected, it's recommended you change your USF password as a precaution.
