First Year Students
Monday, August 18 and Tuesday, August 19 will be your Orientation days. During Orientation, you will be on a team with fellow students led by an Orientation Team Leader (OTL). OTLs are undergraduate students who are passionate about USF and want to make your experience great. Orientation covers a lot of topics such as academic policies, student support resources, tips on getting involved, health services and insurance, immigration services, and much more! At the end of the second day, you will build your class schedule with your academic advisor. Other programming in Glo-Bull Beginnings Week will add more details to content covered at Orientation.
Transfer Students will attend Orientation on Wednesday, August 13. During Orientation, you will experience what being a USF Bull is all about! Your Orientation will include information on academic policies, student support resources, getting involved on campus, health services and insurance, immigration services and much more! You will also meet your academic advisor and register for your first semester classes. During your Orientation, you will meet Transition Mentors or TMs who are undergraduate students that are here to help. Other programming in Glo-Bull Beginnings Week will add more details to content covered at Orientation. Please note that students living on campus cannot move into their residence hall until Sunday, August 17. These students should plan to stay at a local hotel when arriving to the U.S. and until that date.
The Pre-Arrival Homework will prepare you to be a student at the University of South Florida and provide you with valuable information about coming to the United States. The content will be available in June and we will send you an email at that time.
CampU and Bull Haul Participation
Unfortunately, due to your obligations in Glo-Bull Beginnings Week, international students are not able to participate in CampU or Bull Haul. There are events throughout Glo-Bull Beginnings Week to allow international students to meet each other and their fellow USF students.
