Congratulations on choosing the University of South Florida to continue the pursuit of your degree!
Our Transfer Express sessions cover the basic information you need to know as a new USF student - academic policies, community expectations, and other essential student information. The streamlined session puts you in the driver's seat of building a connection to the University. Orientation staff are available outside of the Orientation session to assist you in your transition.
Transfer Express is only available to the following student types:
- Students born on or before December 31, 1991
- Student Veterans (or eligible dependents)
- Students attending USF for their second baccalaureate degree (not formerly USF students)
For students planning to live on campus for the Spring semester, the official Housing and Residential Education opening is January 6th, 2018. If you would like to move in earlier than this date, you can move in on January 3rd, 2018. However, if you would like to do this you must log in to the housing portal using your NetID and password and submit an Early Arrival Request Form and pay any additional associated fees. If you do not plan to live on campus during your college experience, please begin planning for any housing accommodations you might need.
Once you have completed and paid for your Orientation reservation, you can log back in at any time using your NetID and password to download your confirmation page and parking permit. Your confirmation page will include detailed information about the session and necessary arrival details, including a parking permit. Please note, parking permits will not be emailed to you prior to session.
Be sure to continue checking your USF email, as you will receive additional details to prepare you for your arrival prior to Orientation. Do not hesitate to reach out to our office by calling 813-974-3060 or emailing us at email@example.com with any questions you have.
