USF College Research Administrators Network (CRAN)

Constituency

The network represents key stakeholders from all areas involved in research, bringing together participants with vested interests in improving the research administration enterprise to assure that USF is positioned optimally to address regulatory and business changes and will lead to increased institutional effectiveness in managing extramural funding. The network is comprised of nearly 600 USF employees, representing highly competent, well-informed research administrators who support research across disciplinary, departmental, college, and campus boundaries.

CRAN Discussion Board

The CRAN Discussion Board is an online forum for USF research administrators to share ideas and discuss topics with one another. To Join: Enroll in the CRAN Discussion Board. Note: Users must have a USF NetID to login.

Meetings

Semiannual meetings provide members of the USF research administration enterprise with a forum to learn and hear about important and timely topics pertaining to the research enterprise.

USF System CRAN Meeting Advisory Group

The USF System CRAN Meeting Advisory Group (PDF) is charged with identifying and recommending agenda items for meetings. The composition of the Advisory Group reflects the institution's diverse research administration enterprise and includes representatives throughout the USF System.

To request an agenda item for a CRAN meeting, please submit the CRAN Agenda Item Request form (PDF) to TRAIN@usf.edu.
