Fraternity & Sorority Life

Advisor Resources

Most Greek Letter Organizations require that each undergraduate chapter have an alumni member or university official serve as an official advisor to the chapter. The advisor's responsibilities include much more than just signing off on paperwork. Each chapter must have an advisor that works closely with the chapter to assist and ensure that organization objectives, values, and goals are consistently being reached.

Responsibilities of advisors include attending meetings, relaying information from national headquarters, working with chapter officers, and communicating with Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life. Advisors are an integral part of our fraternal community at the University of South Florida.

This page is devoted to providing current information and resources for the support and development of our chapter advisors. Please feel free to check back often for updated advisor contact info, minutes from the Advisor Council Meetings, and dates and times of our Advisor Council Meetings. We look forward to a successful partnership between the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life and each of our dedicated volunteer chapter advisors!
