This annual kick-off to the community service year occurs at the start of each Fall semester. Hundreds of new USF students come out to volunteer together in the Tampa Bay area.

CHARGE into your community, connect with your fellow Bulls and serve the Tampa Bay area. This new-student tradition of service connects you with not only the Tampa Bay community but upperclassmen at USF who can help you learn about involvement opportunities on campus and help you be successful. Schedule of the Day:
8:30 a.m. Site Leader Check-In MSC Atrium
9 a.m. Participant Check-In MSC Atrium
9:30 a.m. CHARGE Kick-off! MSC Atrium
9:45 a.m. Depart campus for service Various Locations
10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Service! Various Locations
12:30 p.m. Debrief & Reflection Various Locations
1 p.m. Depart service for campus  

After CHARGE, everyone is invited back to campus for Burgers & Beats from 1-5pm in the MSC Ballroom. The annual event, hosted by the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life where you can enjoy free food and learn about the Greek organizations at USF!

New Student Participants:
We welcome and encourage all new students (first-year and transfer) to participate in CHARGE! Sign-ups will take place online until Thursday, August 18th, 2017. Walk-up registration on the morning of the event is limited and due to capacity at the non-profit agencies; therefore, not all walk-up volunteers are guaranteed a spot to serve. In order to participate in CHARGE, there are a few requirements.

Requirements:
Be a new student at the USF Tampa Campus
Register online or at the "Walk-Up Registration Table" (space for walk-ups is limited)
Devote the full 4-hours of service on the day of CHARGE
Maintain a fun, positive attitude and a strong desire to get involved in your new USF community!

If you represent a nonprofit community partner within a 25 minute drive of USF-Tampa campus, and you are interested in receiving USF Student Volunteers during this event, please contact Justin Fitzgerald
