Background Check requests can be made at the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities by agencies in order to check on student's conduct standing. To complete a background check, a release form is required to be submitted with the student's name and signature authorizing the check.
Record checks can also be requested through the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities by university offices in order to check on the conduct standing of students applying for Study Abroad, Student Government and in other instances upon request.
Student information will only be shared when a student has been found responsible for a charge. The following information is shared:
1) Date of incident,
2) Violations found responsible for,
3) Educational sanction,
4) The student's disciplinary standing with USF.
