The Harold and Muriel Berkman Charitable Foundation, Inc. has created a new scholarship for USF student veterans. This renewable scholarship is for full-time USF undergraduates or any graduate level students with preference for students who are recipients of the Combat Infantryman Badge, wounded veterans missing limbs as a result of combat activities, and veterans who received the Purple Heart. The scholarship is worth $1000 for one semester.
The Harold and Muriel Berkman Charitable Foundation has announced that it will over
a minimum of two $1000 scholarships to USF student-veterans for the Spring 2016 term.
The scholarship is for full-time undergraduate and graduate level student-veterans,
and full or part-time doctoral student-veterans.
Preference is given for those veterans who are recipients of the Combat Infantryman's Badge (CIB), wounded veterans missing limbs as a result of combat activities, and veterans who received the Purple Heart Medal.
However, it is suggested that any USF student-veteran who is the recipient of the Combat Action Badge or conducted combat operations in Iraq or Afghanistan apply for the scholarship.
